Some of our Favorite Restaurants

Here’s a list of those that we frequent that you may want to try while staying at our Pinehurst vacation rental property. If you find one that’s great, but not on the list, please let us know!

Pizza

1. Vito’s – the one on Hwy 5 inn Aberdeen (not the one in Southern Pines). They are not open on Sunday and they don’t take credit cards, but we’ve been going here for years.
2. Pinehurst Pizza – lots of folks like this place; it’s owned by a junior golf family and they are open on Sundays.
3. ‘Lil Dino’s – they have great sub sandwiches too

In Pinehurst

1. Dugan’s Pub – Irish Pub in the middle of town, a favorite that’s always crowed
2. Quill and Drum Pub – newer pub
3. The Deuce Pinehurst Resort – Newest restaurant at the club, try to get a table outside! “Overlooking the historic 18th hole of Pinehurst No. 2, The Deuce features indoor and outdoor dining in a relaxed setting. Some might call it the best 19th hole in golf and the perfect place to end your round.” 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Tavern at the Holly Inn – the Holly Inn has 2 restaurants, the 1895 Grille and The Tavern. We’ve always likes The Tavern better because it is a bit more casual and the food is great. Better for kids than the 1895 Grille.
5. Pine Crest Inn – they have both a restaurant and pub menu.

The Deuce at Pinehurst Resort

In Southern Pines

1. Southern Prime Steakhouse – beautiful restaurant with good, but pricey, food
2. Beefeaters – steak and seafood, a bit more casual than Southern Prime. They have a Prime Rib Special on Mondays.
3. Kickback Jacks – great sports bar on 15-501. The kids will love this place and the food is pretty good too!
4. Full Moon Oyster Bar – if you feel like oysters
